    Hybrid vehicles are significantly heavier than their gasoline counterparts due to the high-voltage battery packs and dual-motor systems.     1. High-Load Capacity (HL)

    Because a hybrid can weigh 10% to 20% more than a standard car, it requires tires with reinforced sidewalls. Using a standard tire can lead to “sidewall flex,” which ruins handling and can even lead to tire failure under heavy loads.

    2. Low Rolling Resistance (LRR)
