What’s Included in Our Health Check?
1. High-Voltage Diagnostic Scanning
We use specialized scanners (like the Midtronics HYB-1000) to communicate directly with your Battery Management System (BMS). We don’t just look for error codes; we analyze:
Delta SOC: We check the “State of Charge” variance between battery blocks. A healthy battery should have nearly 0% variance.
Internal Resistance: High resistance leads to heat, and heat is the #1 killer of hybrid batteries.
2. Battery Cooling System Service
Most owners don’t realize their battery has a dedicated air or liquid cooling system.
Fan De-clogging: We remove dust, pet hair, and debris from the battery intake fans (usually located under the rear seats).
Filter Replacement: We clean or replace the hybrid battery air filter to ensure your system can “breathe.”
3. Inverter & Converter Thermal Analysis
The inverter is the “brain” that converts battery power into motion. We inspect the dedicated Inverter Cooling System for leaks and fluid degradation to prevent a catastrophic (and expensive) electronic failure.
4. 12V Auxiliary Battery Testing
Did you know a weak 12V “accessory” battery is the leading cause of “false” hybrid system warnings? We stress-test your 12V battery to ensure it can properly “boot up” the high-voltage system.
